"We lead by serving others" is the motto of the Beta Club. With a purpose of promoting academic excellence and modeling good citizenship through service projects, the Beta students are some of Alcorn Central's best.

Requirements for entrance in the Beta Club is a semester average of above 90 in each course and pursuing a college-prep curriculum. A chapter requirement is to participate in most activities, with required participation in fundraisers and a minimum of ten community service hours per year.

Dues are $32 for new members and $15 for returning members.

The Beta club meets regularly.
