FBLA officers

The Alcorn Central High School (ACHS) chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) recently attended the Mississippi Fall Leadership Conference for FBLA, held on October 25 at East Central Mississippi Community College (ECCC). This event provided the ACHS officer team a unique opportunity to engage in several leadership workshops designed to help them enhance their roles and serve their chapter back home effectively.

FBLA State President Luke Baswell, one of ACHS's own, led an interactive Jeopardy-themed workshop that tested and expanded attendees' FBLA knowledge through trivia. This engaging activity aimed to educate and entertain, bringing a fun twist to learning core FBLA concepts.

In another session, State Parliamentarian Alice Brose offered insights on the importance of professional dress, appearance, and making positive first impressions, providing valuable advice for students as they prepare for future business environments.

Additionally, Coach Mask was invited to lead a session on preparing for competitive events, sharing strategies and tips to help students excel in FBLA competitions.

The conference provided ACHS FBLA officers with resources and inspiration, reinforcing their commitment to leadership and professional development. With fresh skills and insights, they are ready to bring renewed enthusiasm and knowledge back to their chapter, contributing to the growth and success of FBLA at ACHS.
